Custom order a Sweater - Deposit

This is a non-refundable deposit of £25 on a custom order. It reserves a spot in my making schedule and covers the time and labour of discussing and designing your proposed sweater.

My sweaters and vests are made from hand-spun wool (often processed from raw fleece) and knitted by hand. A bespoke sweater can make an heirloom gift for an important occasion, or just a beautiful functional garment to bring style, comfort and colour to your everyday life. I can design fair isle colour work which could include personalised details. My sweaters are unique and hand finished to a very high standard.

On paying this deposit, you'll receive a list of questions from me by email to get an idea of your requirements. From there we can discuss options. I can offer the following:

• A traditional fair-isle vest in your chosen size and colour-scheme.

• A long-sleeved sweater in your chosen size, style and colour-scheme.

A quote and a design proposal will be given once ideas are discussed. My usual fee is around £400 depending on size of garment and level of detail. The balance will be payable on completion, prior to shipping. Lead time is 10-12 weeks from the end of the design stage. Shipping in the UK is free, outside the UK it's charged at cost.
